If your family is anything like mine, you have certain members, wonderful as they are, who are notoriously difficult to shop for during the holidays, their birthdays, Bastille Day, etc. I decided that this year, the best fix for this would be to paint a simple visual representation of one of their most oft-quoted lines from one of their favorite films and give it to them.

Depending on your process, this takes almost as much time as it would take you to wander aimlessly through Soho and/or the internet looking for the magic ‘Eureka’ gift moment which may or may not ever arrive. Plus it’s extremely personalized.

Hard to believe that Stan still finds a way to work ‘Now you’s can’t leave’ into training presentations and wedding speeches, but such is the measure of a man who knows when he’s found a resource of boundless utility. Happy Hanukkah, Dad!
