Matt Dorfman is a New York based designer and illustrator.
The name of his freelance consultancy, Metalmother,
was determined largely on account of this song
getting stuck in his head for an inordinately
long period of time. He is currently the
art director of the New York Times Book Review.

Collaborators include Penguin, Serial, Vintage/Anchor,
Pantheon, FSG, W.W. Norton, Random House,
New York Magazine, Fresh Air with Terry Gross,
The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Scribner,
Bloomberg Business Week, The Atlantic,
and WIRED among others.

His work has been recognized by the AIGA,
the Art Director's Club, The Society of Illustrators,
American Illustration, the Society of Publication Designers
and The Type Director's Club.
